Your public profile
How to share your Badminton Clubhouse profile, and what's actually shown.
Your public profile
Badminton Clubhouse can give you a single shareable URL — https://badmintonclubhouse.com/players/your-handle — that you can link from anywhere: your team chat, your Instagram bio, your CV.
Turning it on
- Go to /me/profile
- Find the Public profile section
- Choose Public
- Tick the agreement box and click Make public
Your profile is live within a minute.
What's actually public
- Your display name
- Your handle (the bit at the end of the URL)
- Your skill tier
- A summary of games played, format split, recent form
- The clubs you belong to (only those that have themselves opted in to discovery)
- Your bio if you've written one
- Your photo, only if you've separately turned on photo consent
What's never public
- Your email, phone, postcode, date of birth, address
- The names of opponents and partners (shown as initials only on your recent games)
- Anything to do with juniors
Changing your handle
Click Change next to your handle on the Public profile section. You can change it once every 90 days. Anyone with your old URL gets redirected to the new one for 12 months.
Photo consent
Photo on your club roster is a separate consent from photo on your public profile. Granting one doesn't grant the other. The toggle in the Public profile section controls only the public surface.
Turning it off
Switch back to Clubs only or Private. Your /players/your-handle URL returns a 404 within a minute. Search engines drop it from their index over the next few weeks.
