Managing Your Juniors

The Juniors page (/me/juniors) is where guardians of under-18 players manage the profiles of the juniors they look after. A junior's profile belongs to you, the guardian, not to any specific club, so the same profile works across every club they play at. You don't have to be a family member: a parent, step-parent, kinship carer, or other legal guardian can all act as a guardian.

Note: You only need this page if you're a guardian responsible for a junior player. Adult players manage their own profiles via Your Profile.

Who Needs This

Use the Juniors page if you:

  • Are a parent or legal guardian of a player under 18
  • Have accepted a club invitation on behalf of a junior
  • Want to add another junior before applying or accepting an invitation

Getting There

There are two ways in:

  • Navigate to Juniors (under the Guardian section) from your /me sidebar.
  • From your /me home, an Add a junior banner appears if you don't yet have any juniors on file. Tap it to jump straight to the Juniors page.

If you haven't added any juniors yet, the page invites you to add your first. Once you have at least one, the dashboard nudge disappears.

Adding a Junior

  1. Click Add junior in the top right (or Add your first junior in the empty state)
  2. Fill in the form:
Required fields:
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Date of birth: used to calculate the junior's age and to match invitations sent for them. A junior must be under 18.
Optional fields:
  • Display name: what the junior prefers to be called
  • Gender and pronouns
  • Playing hand (right or left)
  • Ability level
  • Years playing
  • Medical notes: any information clubs should know in an emergency
  • Bio: a short description
  • Visibility: controls who can see their profile (public, clubs only, private)
  1. Click Add junior to save

The junior appears as a card on the Juniors page with their name, age, ability level, and dominant hand.

Editing a Junior's Profile

  1. Click Edit on the junior's card to open their edit page
  2. Update any field
  3. Click Save changes

Changes apply across every club the junior belongs to, you don't need to update each club separately.

Removing a Junior

Click the Remove button on a junior's card. A confirmation dialog will appear:

If you are this junior's only guardian, their club memberships at every club will be removed. This cannot be undone.

If the junior has another guardian (e.g., the other parent also looks after them), only your guardian link is removed, the junior stays with their other guardian and their club memberships are unaffected.

Tip: If you only want to leave a single club rather than remove the junior entirely, do that from My Clubs instead.

How It Connects to Clubs

When a club invites a junior, the invitation is addressed to your email (the guardian's), not the junior's. When you accept, the junior becomes a member of that club and you become their guardian on the system. You can then accept invitations from other clubs for the same junior without re-entering their details.
