Your service-provider profile
If a club, association, or county invites you as a coach, umpire, referee, line judge, service judge, tournament referee, stringer, photographer, physiotherapist, sports psychologist, S&C coach, or nutritionist, your service profile lights up under Services in the sidebar.
What lives under Services
- Coaching (and any other service you offer), each gets its own sidebar entry with a dedicated profile, credentials, and CPD log where applicable.
- My Services: a single place to see every service you offer, your engagements, your public handle, and your availability.
What you'll find on each service
- Your engagements: which clubs, associations, or counties currently engage you, with status (active, suspended, ended) and start date.
- Your credentials: for coaches, your Badminton England pathway level, primary specialism, CPD points, DBS status, and safeguarding training date. Other roles gain credential capture as they light up.
- Your public handle: claim a unique handle (e.g.
@paulking) and your profile becomes discoverable at/services/p/.
Claiming a public handle
- Open My Services in the sidebar (or pick a specific service like Coaching).
- Open any of your services from the list.
- In the Public profile handle card, type the handle you'd like. Lowercase letters, numbers, underscore, and hyphen only, 3 to 32 characters.
- Press Save handle.
If the handle is taken, reserved (admin, system, etc.), or wrongly formatted, you'll see an inline error and your current handle stays put.
Once saved, your public profile lives at /services/p/. Visitors see your display name, bio, the outward part of your postcode (e.g. LE10, never the full postcode), and any credentials we're allowed to show publicly. DBS status and CPD points stay private.
Adding public contact details
You can let people reach you directly by adding an optional Public email and Public phone to your profile.
- Open My Services in the sidebar.
- Open the service you want to edit and press Edit.
- Enter your Public email, your Public phone, or both. Both fields are optional, so leave either one blank if you'd rather not share it.
- Save your changes.
Once saved, these details appear on your public profile page at /services/p/ so visitors can contact you. They sit alongside your display name, bio, and website. If you'd prefer not to be contacted this way, simply clear the fields and save again.
Pausing your availability
Not taking new engagements right now? Open My Services and press Pause availability. Existing engagements keep running; your public profile stays visible but shows an "availability paused" badge.
Press Resume availability when you're ready again.
